Kate Zenna got her career start in the Canadian award winning feature Jack and Jill, directed by award-winning director John Kalangis. Her work, as 'Veronica' garnered her a Canadian Academy Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film. This 'Genie Award Nomination', Canada's Oscar, opened doors to recurring guest star roles on acclaimed U.S. network and cable TV series such as Nero Wolfe (A&E), Street Time (Showtime), Queer As Folk (Showtime) and guest and co-star roles on Brothers and Sisters (ABC), I'm In The Band (Disney) Eleventh Hour(CBS), Scandal (ABC) and Extant, Steven Spielberg's TV series starring Halle Berry (CBS).
Adept with both drama and comedy, Kate has played opposite stars such as Matthew Modine, Timothy Hutton, Susan Sarandon, William Hurt, Rob Morrow, Rob Lowe, Calista Flockhart, Steve Valentine, Jon Stamos, Annabeth Gish, Rufus Sewell and Mena Suvari. Her work as an actress has been recognized by award-winning directors such as Paul Haggis, Peter Medak, Rob Marshall and Frank Pierson.

Kate played the lead role of 'Amanda Clarke' in the network family drama Port Hope. Kate is Co-Founder and President of ZennaWolfe Media, a media production company that produces marketing media, personal media and Legacy Films for businesses, professionals and families. Kate co-authored 'Falling in Love...With the Camera', a book that offers tips to learning how to unleash your authentic self on-camera.
Kate is also a passionate animal lover and canine rescue advocate. When Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, Kate flew to New Orleans and rescued dogs from the devastation.
